When I first joined the firm, we were called Arnheim & Co and Price Waterhouse hadn't even announced its merger with Coopers & Lybrand. Some 13 years and several name changes later, I'm now a partner and head of the IP, IT and Commercial group. I joined all those years ago expecting to work for household name clients and the range of clients we see is every bit as exciting and impressive as I'd hoped. What I didn't expect though, and what has become what I like most about working here, is the range of work we do. As well as the traditional work lawyers in my field expect to see, we get involved in all sorts of projects which are out of the ordinary. It can be challenging and it can be ground-breaking but it's certainly never dull.
