I’m Ed Stacey, Partner and Head of our Employment team.
I have experience in all aspects of employment law on both a national and multi-jurisdictional basis. I regularly work alongside employers on major restructuring programmes and the resolution of work place conflicts through mediation and arbitrations. I’ve advised on the exit of senior executives, assisted numerous individual hires and advised on team moves involving the enforcement of restrictive covenants in the UK and internationally.
Recently I’ve become recognised as an expert on the planned Government changes to employment law allowing workers to relinquish employment rights for tax relief on shares. This has included press commentary in The Times, Daily Telegraph, Financial Times and an interview on Radio 5.
I’ve advised on a number of high-profile discrimination claims and have extensive experience of guiding clients through proceedings in the employment tribunal, High Court and Court of Appeal covering all aspects of employment litigation. I’m described as being ‘very astute’ whilst my practice is described as ‘impressive – has the infrastructure to cope with heavyweight litigation’ in the current edition of Legal 500.
